I style my hair quite alot and my hair is quite dry and damaged, I am looking for a shampoo and conditioner and maybe a conditioner to leave in for half an hour os so once a week to get my hair looking and feeling healthy and shinny, any recommendations please?

Aussie products are great for making your hair feel the way it should.
I used to work in a hairdressers and one treatment we did to help damaged and dry hair was to wash the hair, towel dry and then put henna wax into it. Then cling film goes over the top and a hair drier is applied to warm it up. After about ten minutes or more you wash it out and the hair becomes really soft. I still do this once a month myself to make sure my hair is okay, along with using aussie products.
Great news with henna wax is, it's insanely cheap - it costs about 99p for a large tub most places.

Redken All Soft is brilliant. Expecially the All Soft Cream conditioner in the tub. Pricey but worth it.

Biolage shampoo is wonderful for my hair....and also Bed Head for Brunettes or Blondes is great is you have dry or damaged hair but if u are on a budget.....Aussie is good.

Try a treatment first. Hot oil sachets are great - or treat yourself to a visit to a salon for an intense conditioning treatment. After that I have to say that AUSSIE is the best I've tried...and I've tried a lot. Also, don't over dry. Try thermasilk products for protection whilst styling. Leave hair at a slightly damp stage when blowdrying and let it air dry naturally. A little pomade goes a long way for a smooth finish.

well i use all sorts of shampoos but for conditioner i use mess head 'smooth operator'. my hair was really dry before but now it's really sost and shiny...well sort of lol but you'll definately notice a difference ;)
i'm also trying 'kuan'. it's this chinese herbal conditioner that you leave in overnight. you put it in an hour before you go to bed and then wash it out n the morning. i've used it twice, but never actually washed it out. it made my hair nice and smooth so i kept it in hehe
it's not expensive either. i think you can get it from wilkinsons...

I would definately say Aussie miacle shampoo and conditioner and definately the 3 minute miracle conditioner for that bit extra every now and again!!

my hair styilst reccomended to me to leave in your normal conditioner in your hair for 30-45 minutes. ( ihave dry hair too) but i use pantene and i also use herbal esscences hello hydration. good luck!!

Shampoos tend to be very drying in general. My hair always felt dry, then I cut out shampoo altogether and it has done miracles for me. I just use conditioner, either timotei, superdrug own brand or sometimes LUSH products.
Conditioner will clean your hair as well as shampoo; you just need to leave it in a bit longer for it to work.
You should check out the Long Hair Community, There is loads of great information about hair care there. You閳ユ獓 be surprised how drying some shampoos and conditioners can be for people!!
The Long Hair Community have some great leave in and deep treatment recipes on the website. Treatments you can make yourself with stuff in the kitchen! Saves you lots of money too!

tressemme is always the best to use . remember not to use a 2 in 1 though they sometimes are no good its best using a conditioner and shampoo of the same brand aswell .

I use Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for brunettes....Pantene do a good range of hair products for a variety of hair and they're not expensive...try getting the one for damaged/dry hair...also you could go to your hairdressers and see what they rec commend....I also use L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Cream:after towel drying my hair as it protects your hair against the heat of hairdryers and straighteners (stops it getting damage and dry)..hope this helped

The women/stylists there created it for thick, biracial hair. But it is great for straight hair that is dry.

Well I had dry,damaged hair and I used Herbal essences purple fruit fusions for dry and damaged hair shampoo and conditioner and it felt great! Though I can give you a tip that you can use with any conditioner. When you go to rinse your hair out do it in slightly cold water as this calms down your hair cuticles and makes it softer and shinier. Also I can suggest loreal elvive for dry and damaged hair as my mother had dry hair and this worked for her. If your also looking for a leave in conditioner that revitalises dry hair use Vitapointe as it stopped my mothers hair being dry and frizzy and made it back to it's usual self.SHE WONT LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT IT!lol!If using a hair dryer only dry your hair until its slightly damp this will stop it from splitting. i hope i have been a help and I hope you have a good hair day! love cupid x
