How do i make my hair grow 15 inches march or july??

Soorrry theres no way, 15inches in july.

Some people's hair is like that. We cant do anything. but try this one, if ya see improvement after a month or two ,do it

regularly. i think it might work as the ingredients can make hair grow.

Hair Growth Mixture

-1/4 c pure Vitamin E oil

-1/4 c castor or jojoba oil

-15 drops of rosemary oil

-15 drops of peppermint oil

Place ingredients in a container %26amp; mix well. Use one fingertip to dip into the mixture %26amp; gently massage.

The ingredients are known to aid in hair growth, which is perfect for helping regrow the hairline.

It is fine to use little every night, only if you clean your hair often (at least a few times per week).

Its important to rinse off heavy oils so they won't clog your hair follicles - which can cause itches

and slow down hair growth.

How do i make my hair grow 15 inches march or july??

breaded? you mean braided?

How do i make my hair grow 15 inches march or july??

ok, normal hair grows about a half an inch a month. fyi

How do i make my hair grow 15 inches march or july??

Not gonna happen. Your hair grows about as fast as your fingernails. Be patient. it will get there.

How do i make my hair grow 15 inches march or july??

You can try getting extensions or even a full weave. My hair grows really slow too, and I had a weave for about 3 months. When I took it out my hair had grown a lot! Weaves are kinda expensive (probably about $300 for the hair and weave) but it's really worth it, especially if your hair bothers you a lot!

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

i use sunsilk 24/7 hydra tlc creme and it makes my hair a lot healthier than before..but i keep hearing how cheap hair products like pantene and fructis will eventually damage ur hair..i don't see how this is true when sunsilk works better than really expensive shampoos i have. any thoughts?

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

not ALL cheap products are bad for your hair. I think what people really mean is that more expensive better could be better for your hair. This is because brands like bio, redkin, matrix etc. use more high quality ingredients compared to the cheaper brands lets say. but cheap hair products can be great too!

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

any thing that is cheap doesnt show it's effects right away what it will start doing after internal use is start breaking off and one day you'll find more hair in your brush than your head !

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

i use pantene shampoo and conditioner, they're great

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

Most of the time, the chemical make-up of salon products and cheaper products is the same, and the cheaper products will not do any damage to your hair.

However, many stylists sell the products they use in the salon, and they make a little extra money off of it. They, of course, want you to buy the products that they sell.

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

Its not 100% true. In some cases cheaper shampoos use cheaper ingredients. But not all.Pantine or whatever is bad for your hair. Garnier however uses natural ingredients. I have been using it since I was about 10 or 11 and I havent had a problem. Its great. And it smells great too. The first time I used it, I was at a friends house. I thought it would be expensive, but I was sprised that it was about 3-5 dollars. I used to use pantine and I didnt like it. Not everything expensive has a better quality.

How are cheap hair products bad for ur hair?

not all cheap hair products are bad for your hair. I've used motions and optimum for most of my life and never had any problems.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

My hair is very thick and I've been growing it long. It's now about halfway down my back. My problem is that the outer layers of my hair are very healthy and shiny, but the layer underneath, closest to my neck is very thin and has started to break. I've noticed split ends and dullness. I asked my hair stylist if she could trim these areas, but she said it would look uneven to trim them and not the rest of my hair. I've tried hot wax treatments, heat-styling protection, and special conditioners. I feel like I'm just wasting money. Does anyone have any other ideas? Sorry this was such a long question.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

ask them to razor your hair and thin it out it will help

or ask them to cut it with texturizing scissors because it doesn't chop of length as much as getting rid of split ends and thinning

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

it dsnt mater cute like a half inch of everythin

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

try being gentle with this section of ur hair... and don't brush it too much....

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

just cut the half inch off of everything-i promise your hair will grow faster like that

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

Use a conditioner on your hair and leave it on for like 5 minutes try putting a hair cap on over your hair with the conditioner mixed into your hair and leave on for 5 minutes to let your body heat work with your hair this will help bring back some of the dullness. The split ends are split, but this will help it look shinier and a little healthier. Good Luck! Do this every other day at least!

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

Well, ther's a puzzeler for ya!

If I'm getting this right, when you put your hair into a pony tail, the underneath is what is bothering you? Do you wear it up alot?? How often are you having it cut? Sounds to me like you DO need that cut but ti's really hard for me understand. Is your stylist thinking that you want ALL of your hair cut to that length? Sorry hunny....I just can't seem to get it without a picture. If you could post one, that would be great. See if you can get someone to take a pic of what your talking about. Sounds to me like cutting it underneath shouldn't be a problom if I'm gettin' you.

Sorry I wasen't much help!

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

You can't expect your hair to grown if you have split ends. When I was in middle school my hair was really long but I had split ends really bad--when my stylist chopped it all off my hair grew big time.....I don't think that it would look right if you cut underneath just cut it especially if it has grown this far it wouldn't be a problem for it to grow back.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

yeah, tell your hair dresser that she suppose to give good advice and cut it it will grow back.

Split ends on part of my hair, but not another?

IS THIS YOU? YOU'RE GORGEOUS, WHO IS GOING TO LOOK UNDERNEATH? IT'S USUALLY THE OTHER WAY AROUND,IT'S USUALLY ON TOP WHEN IT IS THAT WAY.DON'T LOOK FOR SOMETHING NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE. THIS PIC LOOKS LIKE A MOVIE STAR, SURE YOU'RE NOT PULLING OUR LEG?

How do u get pretty hair?

You will see alot of girls with really nice non sticking up hair thats flat. And it looks healthy. I dont use cheap shampoo. Whats the deal?

How do u get pretty hair?

i have flat hair and i cant do anything with it unless i style it, volume it, or curl it. I dont kno how they do either. Sometimes you just have to experiment what works best for your hair. And also, it may look healthy, but they probably used 10000 products.

How do u get pretty hair?

they straighten their hair

How do u get pretty hair?

thats wat im tryna figure out, i guess they use shine serum, it may not necessarily be healthy.

How do u get pretty hair?

How do u get pretty hair?

The problem with ponytails is that when you hair is wet it is streched and when it drys is breaks. Use a wax or a palmade that will smooth the hair down. Dont wear to many ponytails

How do u get pretty hair?

Next time you go to the hairstylist, ask your stylist how to care for and style your hair properly)

(Do not feel obligated to buy the products they show you, you can usually find cheaper products that are just as good at the drug store.)

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

Hi, Ok so.. this is killing me! I recently cut my hair like really short due to horrible damage. I just started using sunslik shampoo and conditioner to keep split ends GONE! and Im also taking this multivitamin. I was wondering if there is anything out there cheap and effective that will grow my hair longer, faster, and healthier. If you have any advice i would be so happy to hear from you.

thanks!!!

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.

GNC makes a tablet called "Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women, the pills are taken daily, 2 pills a day. They are HUGE and very hard to swallow, if you have any trouble at all with large tablets, then I wouldn't recommend these. The 2 pills also contain only 1200 micrograms total of Biotin, which is the main supplement needed for hair to grow faster and stronger. You should try to get a minimum of 2500 micrograms of Biotin daily to improve hair's rate of growth and its condition.

ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that

http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...

This is in capsule form and much easier to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.

I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.

The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.

My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.

The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.......

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

one answer-- patience.

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

There's literally nothing you can do. You can't fasten up the process in any way.

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

growing longer hair takes patience. since your damaged hair has been cut off, the hair will grow much more faster and healthier.

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

Buy a bottle of pure virgin Coconut oil from any Indian grocery store.

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

Get your hair trimmed on a full moon. seriously.

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

when you trim your hair, they naturally grow faster than normal to replace the hair that you lost. when you shave your legs or whatnot (if you do), you should notice that they grow back thicker and darker (most of the time). trim your hair every other month... about 2 cm. and wait :)

How Can I Grow My Hair Longer and Faster??

Don't lsiten to the other answers. If you buy baby shampoo at any store, it will make you hair longer and thicker faster...actually it will work right after you wash your hair..thats how fast ti makes our hair gorw! I use it and my hair is thick and kinda long, but thats just because I just cut my hair LOL ^_^

It is also proven that will make your hair thick, long, and smooth all at once. It says it on the back of the bottle lol

Wut is the best way to thin your hair?

i have long thick hair and i went to my hair stylist and she said u can only thin your hair at the bottom because you dont want to damage the main part of your hair. the problem is only thinning the bottom of my hair doesnt do anything. so how do i thin my whole hair out while still keeping it healthy?

Wut is the best way to thin your hair?

Have you thought about getting your hair layered it can get rid of more length while at the same time making it appear thinner, also your stylist should use texturising scissors or a razor. better yet get another hair stylist who knows about the techniques of thinning hair and who would only be too willing to use texturising scissors or a razors that are for the hair and do what you ask.

Wut is the best way to thin your hair?

Light it on fire.

Wut is the best way to thin your hair?

straighten your hair or take a shower and brush in it while you put shampoo on and then blow dry and watch Hannah Montana

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

Hair growth depends upon only the gene. Anyway there exits many routes for faster hair growth. Refer the site below for ur need.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

There is no way to make your hair grow faster - hair grows at a rate of about 1/2 inch per month, so there's really nothing you can do about that - you could try using a shampoo for fine or thin hair, those usually are aimed at giving the hair a thicker look. Short of getting extensions, the only thing you can really do is go back to the salon, demand they give you a haircut that isn't heinous (to make waiting for your hair to grow out less traumatic), and just have patience.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

There is a supplement called hair/nails and skin. You can buy at your local drug store or Wal-mart. It really makes you hair grow faster and your nails too. Some people like the shampoo Mane and Tail. It supposedly is good for your hair... I've never tried it though. I just take the supplement when I need my hair to grow fast.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

Okay, you may be a little grossed out by my answer, but my Aunt Azam told me this. She is from Persia, and has traveled around the world. She said if you grind goat testicles, then use the juice on your head and leave it in there for a couple of hours, it will make your hair grow!

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

There is a vitamin called L-Lysine, i take it and its wonderful, names hair, skin, and nails grow fast, take everyday and you will notice results in about a week.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

No, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to make your hair grow faster. I have heard taking prenatal vitamins makes your hair smoother, nicer looking. I am in the same boat as you right now, I got a bad haircut 9 months ago and am STILL suffering from it (that was a very bad case though). I would suggest maybe going to someone else at an expensive, upscale, reputable place. They should be able to fix it. You might have to go shorter than you want to for them to be able to fix it (or at least make it half-way decent looking), but at least it won't look like a bad haircut anymore...you'll just have to wait for it to grow out which you'll have to do anyway, so you might as well get it fixed now so it doesn't look like crap while you're waiting. That's what I had to do. My hair is now much shorter than I want it, but at least it doesn't look awful anymore and I can look forward to it being long again. I do feel for you though, it's so hard to find someone who knows what they are doing. That's why I suggest an expensive salon...they do not hire idiots. You get what you pay for and if your hair is as important to you as it is to me, it will be so worth the extra money because you will be so happy with the result. And anyone that tells you about a product that will make your hair grow faster, well there is no such a product so don't waste your money. If there were, you wouldn't see all these rich celebrities with extensions.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

Hair grows at it's normal rate. I suggest you let it just grow on it's own, and not waste your money on a bunch of bolgnia. Most of those products do nothing to your hair. I suggest you get another hair cut to fix it until it grows back out. Find a style that is fashionable, but will fix your bad cut. And of course don't go back to the person who cut your hair. =)

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

When I was pregnant I took prenatal vitamins and my hair and nails grew so fast. other than that I haven't heard of anything else that would help your hair grow.

How can i make my hair grow faster i got a really bad haircut! Doesjello help?

The answer to "instant hair growth" is that there isn't any.

There is no magic bullet.

You can start off by taking Omega-3 vitamins. They are rich in the omega 3 oils (fish) that benefit your skin, hair and nails, and will also contribute good health to your heart.

They say you are what you eat, and that's soooo true! Popping daily hair vitamins and minerals is a wonderful way to strengthen and enhance growing hair follicles. Unfortunately vitamin supplements may not be enough. It閳ユ獨 essential to get proper nutrients directly from the foods that we eat.

Regarding jello, I have never heard of it helping with hair, however, Knox Gelatine when mixed with fruit juices (as a drink), definitely will strengthen your nails and will probably help with your hair as well, since hair is 98% protein, such as your nails. And, Vitamin C is a great antioxidant promoting tissue and cell repair and growth. It also strengthens the overall immune system, and assists in metabolizing B vitamins and amino acids into the body.

Citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, limes, melons and berries (including black currants) are power packed sources of C. Brussel sprouts, red peppers, kale, cauliflower, tomatoes and cucumbers are additional choices for adding vitamin C foods to your diet.

Vitamin E is known as the "heart healthy" vitamin. It also provides lots of benefits for growing vibrant hair. Add E to your diet by consuming foods like avocados, rice bran, nuts, dark green vegetables, legumes and whole grains.

Brewer's yeast and kelp are excellent for the hair. I purchase mine at a health food store or over the net. I like TwinLab brewer's yeast. I put this in my juice drinks; sprinkle about 1 tablespoon, shake and drink. It doesn't have too much of a taste. You can also add to yogurt and cottage cheese. Kelp, I have bought both, dry and capsules and I like the dry for a hair mask and the capsules just to take.

Eat your spinach and your carrots, too! We really are what we eat. And, nothing is quite as horrific as having your locks "chop-chop" by a mad hair cutter. It has happened twiced to me. "Devasting!"

Try the web below, they have said it all in the hair dept. Most I've known for years, and I think it will greatly benefit you as well. "Eat healthy, and drink lots of water!"

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

i get a trim.but since before my very damaged i got it cut and layers so it will be healthy..but as years passed my hair has gotten better but still sometimes looks dry and i get fast spilt ends

so whats a good hair product that covers, hides spilt ends

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

Conditioner is the only thing that can temporarily seal your ends so they won't look as split but the only way to lose them is to trim them, because you can only hide for a couple of weeks before it begins to climb farther up the hair shaft and become even longer split ends. So try to use a moisturizing shampoo and moisturizing conditioner, and keep that hair trimmed every six to eight weeks and limit heat styling. I use Ojon and Jonathan Product. I love both brands' conditioners and I love Jonathan's moisturizing shampoo it got my hair into shape. Also I've used Matrix Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner and they worked fine too, but not as good as Ojon and Jonathan Product. You can buy the first two at www.sephora.com and Matrix at www.matrix.com

Use a good hair conditioner. I also use aloe vera, and it keeps my hair very healthy.

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

apply hair oil at nite so dat ur hair doesnt remain dry...u can wash it next morning if u want.....u can also use some good quality shampoo may be garnier fructis or lauriel....dan use some good coditioner like livon or something else....use the shampoo which suits ur hair......n yeah about ur splitends u need to remove it first of all go to a salon for dat...

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

Personally I like Hair Mayonnaise or Cholesterol, which you use as a conditioner. It helps reduce the look of damage to hair. It's usually categorized as an "ethnic" product but I think it works wonders for everyone. Hair Mayonnaise - you can leave it in your hair and it doesn't smell too much like a salon which is a plus. Also try to blow dryer your hair in cooler temperatures if you do use any heat styling tools.

Other than that, you'd have to just keep trimming to keep them way or use a reconstructing formula to keep your ends healtheir like Biolage which has fortifying treatments available at Target and salons or beauty supply locations

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

John Freida, Frizz Ease Hair Serum. Put a few drops through your hair when still damp and then style hair. I swear by it!

What is a good hairproduct that covers up dry hair and spiltends?

I have dry hair that loses it shine if I don't take preventative measures. You may be able to buy this product at a beauty supply store like Sally's. It is called Sebastian Cellophane. It adds a protective shine and gloss to your hair which would help prevent any further damage to your hair. It can help prevent split ends because it is a conditioning transparent color seal that coats the hair shaft. As far as your split ends, the only way to prevent your hair from splitting further up the hair shaft, I suggest you trim your ends before applying the color seal. It is non drying since it doesn't require you to strip your color. It is a wonderful deep conditioner which makes your hair shiny and glass like. You can order it online at www.cosmeticmagic.com. It comes in various color shades. It doesn't change your hair color drastically if you stay to the color your hair is currently. I use Black Cherry on my hair to give it a red/violet tones when the sunlight hits my hair.

Is it true that the darker hair color you dye .. the healthier?

becuase i have blonde highlights and my hair seems to be very dry now .. is it true that if i go darker .. my hair will be more conditioned and moisturized? and les dry?thanx in advance

Is it true that the darker hair color you dye .. the healthier?

Not true... Well, it might look healthier... but when you touch it, it's still the same... But if you think that your current color made your hair look really dry,you can try going for some really dark color... It will immediately seem like your hair is in a much healthier condition...^^

Cause there was once when i dyed my hair ash green then ash Grey... erm, lots of really light color and after beaching my hair so often it became really dry and brittle...my mum even told me that from behind... my hair looks like some dried grass sticking out from everywhere...

So when i went back to my hairstylist, he told me to cover up all my 'dirty' highlights with Jet-Black(Blue Black), which I did, and i looked sooo much better....

Well, at least to the eyes... So at the meantime, I'll rest my hair for a bit, conditions it a lot... Use lots of moisturizing treatment....So when my hair got healthier and I knew that it's safe to go back to coloring(without having to fear that they might break off)...Then only I started bleaching them again...!

Hope I helped...!

P.S. My natural hair color is Dark Brown...

Is it true that the darker hair color you dye .. the healthier?

No not really. That just means u didn't take care of them. Cuz I'm a naural blond and all my friends say my hair is really soft

Is it true that the darker hair color you dye .. the healthier?

i've never heard that. try sunsilk (the pink kind) "multi-symptom hair masque" and use it twice weekly in the shower. also you can try hot oil and/or deep conditioing treatments once weekly. make sure that you are eating a healthy diet, and lots of protien. and before you heat style, apply olive oil to your hair (just a little) or use sunsilk thermashine detangling heat protection spray.

good luck.

10 points?

Is it true that the darker hair color you dye .. the healthier?

No dying your hair any color will just make it dryer! I have blonde haired friends with really soft hair! Just get moisterizing shampoo and use conditioner! Good Luck!

Lack of vitamins and hair loss.?

Has anyone out there ever stopped taking their vitamins for a short period of time...two months or so...and noticed some hair loss...then started taking vitamins again and found your hair to be fuller/healthier?

Lack of vitamins and hair loss.?

It can happen so you can follow this remedy also. Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

Lack of vitamins and hair loss.?

NO

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

what can I do to let my hair grow extremely fast...what can I put to it...I do not like the idea of extensions...I want it to be natural hair and I want something healthy....what should I do?

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

I'm in the same situation as you are right now! I called my hair stylist (who I trust very much) and asked her what to do... she told me to take Biotin supplements every day. It won't make your hair grow REALLY fast, but it will certainly speed up the process. Also, take really good care of your hair so the ends won't break off. In the meantime, find a cute way of putting your hair up (if you can). For example, I put my hair up into a messy bun... that way, people can't even tell how long or short my hair is. Take a multivitamin everyday too, to give your hair the nutrients it needs (I recommend One A Day Women's). And, eat a lot of protein - meat, protein bars, even peanuts. Don't feel bad about wanting your hair to grow, though... I feel the EXACT same way as you!

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

you can't make your hair grow you just have to be patient.

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

Add prenatal vitamins or vitamins made specifically for hair, skin, and nails to your diet to help it grow faster. To prevent breakage and split ends avoid wearing metal clips, make sure you take off any necklaces you're wearing when you go to bed, only wash it when it gets oily, buy shampoo and conditioner from a salon (ask your stylist what they recommend for you), stay away from bleach and if you color it have it done in a salon, don't brush it when it's wet (use a wide-toothed comb instead) and if you have to blowdry or iron your hair use some sort of product in it that will protect it from the heat (ask your stylist about that too) and get it trimmed as necessary (depending on your hair type it can be abywhere from 6-20 weeks). Or if you're really desperate you can always get pregnant, it'll grow like a weed :p

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

Don't color it,and use lots %26amp; lots of conditioning with honey

added to your conditioner.

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

You can't actually make it grow faster, but there are a lot of things you can do to stop breakage and split ends to keep from getting set-backs, and the growth will appear faster. The things you can do and the products you use depends on whether you're

Black or another race, because hair texture is so different. Go to different websites and find out what is best for your texture of hair.

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

You already got some great answers, but i'll share my advice anyway.

How to get faster-growing, healthy hair ....

Things you must ingest (eat) : Biotin, Vitamin E, extra protein (meat, eggs, tofu) Multivitamin formulated for "Hair and Nails", nuts and vegetable oils (olive oil)

Things you must do : Exercise a few times a week to increase blood flow to scalp, no more colouring, straightening, bleaching or blow drying, wash hair once a week, condition all the time, do a deep conditioning treatment once a week ...

That should do it.

Above all - PATIENCE

I want my hair to grow reallllly fast....I am desperate...?

if you're so desperate, just wear a long haired wig. duh

Girl. I know what you mean. I would suggest that you do what I am doing now - try to find a good trichologist - who is specially trained to deal with issues of the scalp and hair and nurse your hair back to health. It may be more than just needing to take vitamins.

Help with scrunching Hair!!?

Ok, so I really want my hair to be able to be scrunched... here we go. I have long, naturally curly, darkish-brown hair. I am abled to straighten and curl and un-frizz and everything except scrunch. I also have medium thick hair, its very healthy because I get a trim every two months, and it's really pretty. I just want to be able to scrunch... please help! %26lt;3

Help with scrunching Hair!!?

i use alberto v05 mousse or herbal essences. once you get out of the shower, flip your hair over, work the mousse throught your hair from the roots to the tips and after making sure all your strands are coated, use your hands and scrunch your hair. almost like grabbing a chunk and letting go, grabbing a chunk and letting go and so on. flip your hair over and then use your fingers to fluff up parts that look a little flat. make sure you scrunch your hair really good on the sides and in the back, otherwise you will just have stiff, straight hair instead of curly. make sure you let your hair air dry and don't touch it too much because then it will get frizzy.

Help with scrunching Hair!!?

get the aussie sprunch spray

Help with scrunching Hair!!?

My hair is really thick so what I do is when it is wet I flip my hair to were I am bending over with my head down and I get gel and you just like squeeze your hair like your grabbing it and you do that to all your hair. Then you get hairspray and put that all over. I use a lot of this because I have so much hair and my hair is very long. That should work for you. Hope I helped.

Help with scrunching Hair!!?

If I were you I would go to a salon and see if they will do it for you and ask them to show you how to do it right so when you are getting ready to go out or something then you will now how to do it.

I've over processed my hair!?

In the past two months I've dyed my hair, chemically straightened it, then decided I didn't like the straight hair and permed it. Now my hair is extremely fried out and damaged. No surprise there. But if I use conditioner it becomes "heavy" and greasy looking. Can anyone suggest a good product? I want my hair to be healthy and shiny again!

I've over processed my hair!?

this will sound weird, but trust me. mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. they sell it at pharmacies and grocery stores...it was originally for horses but it contains oils that repair the hair shaft and ends. the conditioner can also be used as a leave in, and that is what i did to repair my hair. its a cheap solution.

also, try putting olive oil in dry hair before bed. rinse it out in the morning. that also repairs damage.

whatever you do, don't waste your money on any pantene pro-v or garnier fructic products. they do more bad than good.

I've over processed my hair!?

biosilk.... it is awesome

I've over processed my hair!?

i don't know any good products but u'll probably just have to grow it out. i don't think u can really "undo" anything that's chemically damaged!

I've over processed my hair!?

use light conditioners that are made with water.

only use a dime sized amount of conditioner to stop the greasy looks and dont brush your hair. Brushing can make hair break easy. but basically your hair is dead, so little by little when its growing cut it to get rid of not only the split ends but the fried hair. try using garnie frutic (or however you spell it) product and products like tre seme, herbal essence. theyr light, but other product work well too.

good luck

閳?br>I've over processed my hair!?

I made the hair mistake too, and I have cut it pretty short, and I am applying mink oil: I bought pure mink oil, and put it in a spray bottle with water: shake and spray. Also, weekly treatments of deep conditioning. You can use the CHI silk treatment, too. But apply this stuff to the ends only, to avoid all over greasiness. Truly, you can treat the hair, and you can make it seem better, but the best solution is take it easy, take vitamins and grow it out with regular trims.

I've over processed my hair!?

SUCKS TO BE YOU

YOU AND YOUR GREASY HAIR

WAY TO GO SLICK

I've over processed my hair!?

I've over processed a few and the best thing for my hair was "tres semme"...and it's handy cuz it's cheap...don't know if it would work for your hair, but it doesn't hurt to give it a try

I've over processed my hair!?

wait a minute, you PERMED you hair? Then why did you straighten hair in the first place? Do you have curly or straight hair? You do know a perm and straightener are two different things, right? WTF, sorry but you're going to have to shave it all of, wow, i don't get why someone would abuse their hair like that.

I've over processed my hair!?

Healthy and shiny are probably not going to happen until you let it grow out and cut off all of the damage.

I have color treated hair and I use Pantene and Aussie products, they work pretty well for me. Try shopping at your local beauty supply store, they may have something that will help for now.

I've over processed my hair!?

Redkin I found out is a really good brand.. expensive but good.. I recommend them.. I have super damaged hair.. coloring.. flat iron.. you name it.. you can buy Redkin anywhere.. I had a hairstylist recommend Redkin and it started working right away..

I've over processed my hair!?

maybe get a trim and a deep conditioner. probably will have to let it grow out..

What can I do about my damaged hair?

My hair is very thin and I have to constantly get my ends of the hair cut because I constantly get those annoying split ends. I flat iron my hair a couple of times a week and I do have highlights. I want my hair to be healthy, is that still possible and are there any secret recipes? Also, I want to somehow thicken my hair and make it less frizzy, it is way too frizzy. Thanks in advance

What can I do about my damaged hair?

Forget hair revitalizing shampoos, great nutrition is the most effective way of getting awesome hair!

Shiny, healthy hair is a reflection of a healthy body, so it's like two for the price of one. Just like your body, your hair needs a balanced, nutritious diet to stay healthy. So follow this recipe for healthier hair, and be amazed at the difference it makes!

Water

Water makes up one-fourth of the weight of a strand of hair. Moisture makes the hair supple, so make sure you get plenty of fluids. A key point is NOT to wait until you're thirsty. If you're thirsty, it means your body has already lost more water than it should have, and it's urging you to fill up the tank. Water not only hydrates your body, but helps keep your hair silky and shiny. Ideally, you should drink between eight and ten glasses of water a day.

Protein

Protein is the building block of hair, so a diet for healthy hair contains an awful lot of protein! Protein will give the shaft of your hair more strength, and will reduce the likelihood of dame through snapping and splitting. You can get protein from foods like fish, meat, milk, cheese and cereals.

Minerals

Iron helps to carry oxygen to the hair. Without enough iron, hair and its follicles get starved of oxygen. This means that the 閳ユoodness閳?in the root of your hair is much less effective along the length of the strand. You can increase your iron intake by eating red meat and dark green vegetables, or by iron supplements.

Zinc builds hair protein which helps to prevent hair loss. Meat and seafood are the foods highest in zinc.

Copper is involved in the pigmentation of hair. You can optimize your natural color with a diet with plenty of copper. Who needs hair dye and fake color! Shellfish, liver, fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds and meat are all high in copper.

Vitamins

Vitamin A will give you a healthy scalp, because it閳ユ獨 great for the skin! You can get vitamin A from foods like vegetables - in particular, in carrots. (So it閳ユ獨 good for the waistline too!)

Vitamin B and C are important for good circulation, hair growth and hair color. If you ensure that you have enough vitamin B and C, you閳ユ獟l have strong, supple strands of hair that do not split. You can get these vitamins from eating foods like fruit, vegetables, cereals, eggs, milk and bread.

So follow this healthy guide閳?be sure to add in a hefty dose of daily exercise to keep that blood pumping閳?then add proper hair care on the surface! Go ahead! Try it!

Soon enough you'll be turning down offers to do shampoo commercials!

Good luck!

What can I do about my damaged hair?

if u flat iron it so much it becomes unhealthy and brittle. maybe a new shampoo...???

What can I do about my damaged hair?

mY hair is like that i use a flat iron and every thing try useing tesamea

What can I do about my damaged hair?

Don't flat iron it too much. This will burn the ends of your hair and make even more split ends! stop flat ironing your hair first of all. Second of all buy a moisturizer. This will make your hair less frizzy and make it soft and silky.Next get layers! it will make your hair look healthier and thicker. And then it is less hard to get split ends. I have layered hair. I think their are hair shampoos and conditioners that thicken your hair and also stop the dryness in it. I think you have flat ironed it a bit too much, that you are getting split ends. The heat damages your hair. If the rest deosn't work, you can get the aussie spray stuff in the commercial that thickens and kind of fluffs out your hair. Makes it fuller. Hope it helps.

What can I do about my damaged hair?

If your hair is thin, I am wondering why on earth that you would want to flat iron it? That only makes it look thinner and flatter and more pathetic, doesn't it. I have thin hair and I know what you mean about constantly cutting the ends. It is most likely because you have layers(?). Layers are another no no for thin hair. A bob of any kind is best for thin hair, or any other one length or graduated haircut. But lots of layers are a silent killer. A choppy bob with layers only in the last inch or so would work well or a stacked bob, angled bob, etc. I wear my hair short and I mess it up with wax and spray the bejesus out of it. I have tried it all and everything else looks pathetic. Good luck, hope that I helped a little.

Oh yeah, use aveda pure abundance products for your fullest, healthiest hair ever! Oh, yes, and don't let anyone cut your hair with a razor, thin hair cannot take it, your ends will already look split the very next morning.

What can I do about my damaged hair?

there are two kinds of deep conditioners, protein and moisture you need protein thin hair needs to build strenght to help it not break as easily. you are going to get split ends that's just the way it is. regular trims and a deep protein conditioner every two to three weeks will help

What can I do about my damaged hair?

It seems like your doing all the harmful things to your hair, try to cut out the iron, it makes your hair dry/frizzy and brittle, it burns your hair and also causes some split ends. Dying your hair isn't good either, try not to do that. There is no 'secret formula' there almost never is. So brush your hair from the bottom up, use special shampoos, and don't rip your hair out when you have a knot.

What can I do about my damaged hair?

use conditoner...

What can I do about my damaged hair?

You can use Redkens Extreme Shampoo and Conditoner for damage. Redkens Extreme Anti Snap can also be used before blow drying. For the frizz, try Redkens Fresh Curls Shampoo and Conditioner. To keep those highlights up and looking good, Redkens Blonde Glam. I would also put a deep conditoner on it the next time you go to salon.

When you use a flat iron on it, use Redkens Fabricate. Outshine can also be used after blow drying. It helps with frizz. Satinwear is also good, it is a blow dry lotion

Hope I could help

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the dam

Okay so hi.! :]

well my hair is past my shoulders its thick and its black with bleached streaks in it. I havent dyed my hair in a couple months and i always condition, but my hair is very dry and frizzy and curly/wavy unless i iron it. But when i do iron it looks very burned right after; especially at the ends. i always use super skinny serum and leave conditioner in my hair for about ten minutes in the shower. So why is my hair so damaged.? Im going to get it trimmed but the rest will still be very dry and frizzy. Is there any product that i can use in my hair to make my hair less dry and more healthy? I have tried buying deep conditioners and sleeping with them in my hair, and that slightly helped but not much! So does anyone have any suggestions? I dont want to cut my hair alot but i am willing to trim it.! Is there any kind of special hair repairer that i can use that will repair my hair.? I have also used Dove Intense Damage and that also slightly helped. Please help me! :]

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

You'll have to get your hair professionally trimmed, and a deep conditioning treatment.

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

the have special hair damage shampoo. google it

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

Get some Permrepair at the drugstore and do a deep condition when you shampoo it. Use the permrepair afterwards and don't use the irons for a while. Get a blunt cut if you can and be gentle with it. No styles that require curling with irons or blowdrying.

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

definitely get all the split ends cut off. make sure you get a trim every six weeks, maybe sooner than that if you apply heat to it every day. try a heat activated product. and try a cholesterol treatment, its like super conditioner, and if i remember right its not really expensive. use it about once a week and it should help, it helped me when i use to bleach my hair. oh and you can find the cholesterol treatments in the black hair care area

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

I would use a smoothing conditioner something like pantene smooth and sleek or herbal essences pin straight. I would also use a leave in spray protectant. I use thermasilk. It never hurts to take a day or two off each week that you dont straighten. It helps. Try reducing the temp on your straightner.

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

I would lay off the ironing and seek professional help in regards to you hair. I have thick curly hair and know all to well about frizzy hair. There are plenty of great products out there now days.

perhaps your leaving the iron on too long hence the burnt problems.

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

sounds like you got it right but stop using the flat iron so much and use a really good flat iron if you continue to flatten your hair. I used a cheap one a few times and omg it burned my hair and it took me months to get my hair back to normal. I brought a really good flat iron for $120.00 and I'm happy to say no more dry ends or fizzies! I do trim my hair every 4 weeks. good luck!

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

I HAVE CURLY HAIR AND I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN BUT I DON'T IRON IT BUT IT IS DRY AND FRIZZY.

I USE LOREAL STUDIOLINE DOWN RIGHT SMOOTH SUPER-SMOOTHING MILK FRIZZ CONTROL IT IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER USED AND I LIVE BY IT AND I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW WHO HAS CURLY HAIR TO BUY IT SO GO OUT AND GET YOU A BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

well you should stop using a flat iron on your hair just buy a really god hair straightener, get your hair trimmed and use a leave in conditioner

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

trim often, deep condition and use a heat protectant spray. tresemme, nexxus, and got2be all have some, and they are available at drugstore. also nexxus has a product called "sleek memory straightening and smoothing spray". i haven't used it yet but i just read about it in the march issue of allure magazine. it's supposed to help your hair stay straight and not have to use a flat iron as often. They said one of their staffers stopped using her flatiron completely after one week. I think i'll buy myself, it's about twelve dollars.

anyway you can use heat styling less is better for your hair

My hair is burned and damaged from flat ironing. I need help.! Do you know any way to repair the damage.?

This may sound kinda like a bit of a harsh solution but its the only realy way to sort your hair out.

You HAVE to get an all over buzz cut and then let your hair grow out again. So you can start fresh. It's usually recommended that you use a special protection spray designed for hair straighteners.

How can I keep our hair healthy and black?

Hi Kritika, As ur name suggests u r an Indian, assuming that u r in India, i would suggest Amla. Like you only, i also love healthy dark hair. I had thm just like tht great looking whn i ws in school, but later due to hard water i got bleahed effect. By God's grace, I again have healthy dark hair, this has worked for me, can surely work for u too !

Do's :

'Amla' worked like magic for me ! I used amla hair oil (previously was using mix of many herbs), twice a week, keeping it at least for 2 days.

'Diet': moderately high in protein value, i also included amla and coconut in my rourine diet

(if u take regular oil massage and right diet, u will need not even to apply hair conditioner, they are well conditioned from within)

'water': drink water as required, i dont think i need to explain the need n gain here, but dont make it much excess drinking of water can wash of elements from body.

avoid 'dandruff'

keep them 'clean' using mild shampoo min 2-3 times a week

if you live in high pollution area shampoo every other day using least amount of shampoo

Dont's :

harmful treatments and chemicals

( i believe there is much harm here than gain. )

Too hot water for hair wash

too thightly bound ponytail

(let ur scalp breath, keep them free at times)

excess brushing, inappropriate/ unclean hair brush

Enjoy the greatness of healthy looking hair,..

It is your pride !

i really want to dye my hair so it looks all black.

If I were to dye my hair how long do you think I could keep my hair black by dying it till im 30 so it looked like I had 100% black hair. Is it also possible to dye your hair and have it look healthy and thick at the same time....help!

I am 18 yrs old and I have scattered grays but I have a thick head of hair, I really like my black hair and...

In answer to your question, it appears that you still have 12 more years to dye your hair until you are 30. Correct? It is possible to dye your hair and still have it maintain a healthy sheen. It completely depends on the brand of hair color you use. I have tried many color lines and my personal favorite is Redken. Because you have gray hair you will need to buy the DOUBLE FUSION line with a 20 volume developer. This is a great color line because I personally feel that it doesn't compromise the integrity of the hair. Also, make sure to leave this on a full 45 minutes otherwise it can make your gray hair go funny colors like pink or green. These are only available through professional stylists so call around and ask salons which color lines they carry and go to one that uses Redken! Good luck

I am 18 yrs old and I have scattered grays but I have a thick head of hair, I really like my black hair and...

If you dye your hair - it'll be blair until you don't dye it. Products have come a long way and are much gentler on the hair than before. So to have healthy looking hair and dyed is possible.

My hair has COMPLETELY fallen out on one side of my head!!!! I'm a black woman, I've been wearing a wig for a while, and I took it off today and whole section of the left side of my head is about one inch long. The rest of my hair is healthy, no problems, and is about 6 inches long!!!!!! WTF do I do????? I haven't had a relaxer since I've been wearing the wig (about three/four months) and I don't want to have to get a buzz cut to fix my hair. OMG!!! Extreme hair crisis!!! Help ME!!!!?

Make sure your wigs are clean on the inside because it sounds as if bacteria has gotten to your head. Try using some king of hair growing product.....if that doesnt work, you may have to cut the rest of your hair. Sorry. Go to a dermatologist they can really help with a solution.

OMG!!! Extreme hair crisis!!! Help ME!!!!?

Oh, I'm so sorry! First I would either go to a trusted hair specialist or even a doctor, to find out what happened. Then get their opinion on what to do. Good luck!

Is it true that if you stand upside down everyday your hair will be healthier?

my mom says that i used to do it when i was young and my hair were way better before...so just wondering if there's any truth to it or is it something a mom has to say ...lol?

Is it true that if you stand upside down everyday your hair will be healthier?

First, everybody's hair was better when they were young. Headstands or not, we abuse our hair as we age through the use of styling products, application of heat, sun damage, clips, ponytail holders, coloring, perming and all the other stuff we do in the name of beauty.

However, it is possible that doing headstands (or handstands, if you're strong enough to do that) could improve the health of your hair. Being upside down increases blood flow to the scalp, and increased circulation is always good. It's also good for your face. Scalp massage is another way to increase circulation in the scalp.

Is it true that if you stand upside down everyday your hair will be healthier?

No its not true. Its just something that your mom has told you.

Is it true that if you stand upside down everyday your hair will be healthier?

It will be healthier, but you would be dead... Are you really that dumb, or you just pretend?

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

I am a African American woman and my hair is breaking. It started when I twist it one night, let it dry and took it down, because I wanted that wavey look. well, it didn't turn out right, and when i combed my hair it started breaking, and it has been breaking every since that day, before then, I would comb it all day and not breakage, could the twist have been the cause of the breakage, and what can I do to make my hair stop breaking and spliting and get strong again, like it was before the twist. Is there some type of treatment i can use to get my hair strong again, or is there something i can take. Last but not lest, how can you tell if your hair is strong and healthy, by doing a strand test, what do you look for? thanks for your help

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

First of, let me say that I can completely understand where you're coming from. It's a terrible feeling when you have your hair healthy and looking nice and then to all of a sudden deal with breakage. It's annoying, but it can be helped. Do you know if your hair is breaking from the middle of the hair strand or from the root? If it's breaking from the middle, you may have put to much of a strain on your hair, over-processed it, using to much heat, lack of moisture...etc. If it's breaking from the root, that may be an indication of something internal such as: lack of proper diet, stress, nervousness, thyroid problem, not drinking enough water, ...etc. When you did the twisties, did you put in a setting lotion and leave-in conditioner so that your hair would air-dry but still hold in moisture? Because usually twisties and wet-sets are the preferred hairstyles that beauticians recommend when a client is experiencing breakage and shedding. However, you know that your hair is breaking and the main thing is to get the hair back strong again. And to do that you will definitely need a Reconstructor Conditioner and shampoos and conditioners that are moisturized. Reconstructor Conditioners are infused with Keratin Protein which is important for the hair to have. Protein in the hair is what makes it strong and helps to strop the breakage due to it being weak. Aphogee Reconstructor is good, Joico K-Pak Reconstructor is great but pricey, and CHI Silk Infusion have great treatments. Use a Reconstructor at least once a month or once every two weeks, but when you use this it's important to follow it with a moisturizing shampoo or conditioner or it will make your hair dry. When you wash your hair, use luke-warm water instead of hot water because it will dry the hair out more if it's already breaking and is dry. Wash your hair in the shower rather than over the sink because your less likely to tangle the hair when your washing it with your head going back. With the breakage, the least thing you need is for it to get tangled from washing it forward and then having to comb it trying to get the tangles out. Use a moisturizing shampoo like Cream of Nature, DesignEssentials, Mizani, and KeraCare. Then follow up with a deep conditioner and a leave-in conditioner. DesignEssentials has a great leave-in conditioner that's called Therapeutics RX leave-in conditioner that affordable and you can order it online. It smell good, leaves the hair very soft, and can be used everyday on damp or dry hair. And follow-up with wrapping your hair at night with a silk scarf. Drink lots of water, maybe take a Vitamin E supplement to help with the blood flow, and eat more protein and fruit. And most importantly, don't do box perms, go to your beautician if you need a perm, box perms will only make it worse. Right now, if you were to do the strand test, you would know if your hair is unhealthy by taking your index finger and your thumb and taking one hair strand and placing it between those two fingers and gently pulling it. If you pull the hair strand gently and it doesn't break, it just goes back into it's position, then your hair elascity is good and your hair is healthy. But if you pull it and it quickly breaks, then your elascity is poor and your hair is weak and unhealthy. If it's really bad you may have to cut of the damaged parts and start over, but if it's not, it's worth working with. Good luck.

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

I'm not an expert but I know that there are vitamins you can take to help strenghten hair. Make sure your getting your daily recommended amount of protein and other nutrients. And of course, wash and condition with good shampoo/conditioner. Good luck!

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

It will definitely take a while to repair. Hair is very delicate and takes patience...but some things you can do along the way is to make sure you moisturize it...once or twice a week, you could put mayo all over your hair, and put a plastic bag over it and hold a dryer over it for about...but don't hold the dryer the whole time...every 3 minutes or so for just 10 seconds, just to heat it up..then rinse well, and apply a nice deep conditioner...one that i've noticed works great for my hair (not African-American but had very damaged hair because of dying) is Aussie's 3-minute miracle. Also, try to avoid brushing your hair while it's still wet...that breaks your hair, and yes, twisting it could have been the cause. As far as strand tests, I don't know much about that, but if your hair is breaking while brushing, then it's not healthy.

buy a wig

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

You definitely need to moisturize your hair. If you do it at home Queen Helene's Cholesterol treatment works well, and if you are on a budget you can buy a jar of mayonnaise and use that to condition you hair. I know it's gross but it definitely works. Another thing is to make sure that your ends are clipped...if you ends are ragged it won't matter if you condition or not...

I do not know if it will work on your type of hair, but I use a shampoo and conditioner that is made by Herbal Essence. It is called Break's over and it helps prevent breakage.

Here is the website, for more information...

There is another shampoo and conditioner that I have never used, but I have heard of. It is made by Pantene and its called Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense. Here is the website...

After you wash your hair use almond oil as a treatment that gives ur hair shine and moister...You should be able to get it at the pharmacy and it doesnt cost much but make sure it is pure almond oil

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

Comb it from the bottom of the strand little by little. Protein strengthens hair. I take gelatin. when you wash and dry it - use a conditioner for dry hair and don't rub it dry with a towel - wrap it up and kinda squeeze it.

How can I stop my hair from breaking everytime i comb it?

Your hair has become dry. You should of applied a comb out spray and a hairdressing before attempting to comb it out . Or your trying to comb too much hair at once. Need to take a small section and start at the roots (using a large wide tooth comb) and gently comb 1/4 of a inch at a time until you get to the ends.

Need to get your ends clipped and apply a deep conditioner to it.

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

My friend said that when she got her hair cut, that this was was the stylist said. Is this true?

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

speaking as a professional stylist trimming your ends is verry beneficial to your hair, yes it helps you hair grow a lot better because you dont have the splittage creeping up your hair stand so yes trim your hair about every 6-8 weeks

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

yes thats true bcuz if u keep your hair with dead ends the when u have new growth its going to split, and u r going to have real amaged hair, and it would have to be cut off more than if u did trim it...good luck!

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

Noo, pepole just say that. Well, it makes it look better.

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

most definately! split ends dont grow. they just damage the rest of the hair.

i did it two weeks ago and im already seeing results.

ofcourse u hav to keep your hair n good shape.

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

i know that it grows ALOT faster but idk about the healthier part

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

yes b/c when you do have split end your hair just grow longer split ends bascially it eate your hair lol

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

It wont make your hair grow faster from the roots but it certainly will make it healthier. Trimming off split ends means the split wont continue to grow bigger ruining more of your hair. So in a way your hair will 'grow' longer if you have trim off split ends regularly, but not in the way you might think.

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

yeah its true. Cuz ur hair doesn't grow when u have split ends, and it usually can actually fall out! and don't do it urself because it might end up looking bad.

Is it true that trimming your split ends on your hair will help your hair grow faster and healthier?

I have very fine hair %26amp; very bad "split-ends".

I always have. You need to go to a salon %26amp; let them trim your split-ends.

I have to do mine every 2 months.

Hair 101, I need some hair tips and advice *?

I'm in the process of growing my hair to be strong and healthy. I use Optimum Care Relaxer; Anti-Breakage Therapy, and I like it alot, it works. Before this perm I was using, "Just For Me" and as I was getting older I was using, " Dark And Lovely". And the two didn't work, it sucked. I want my hair to be light weight and I want it to move when I move. When I wash or perm my hair I don't blow-dry my hair, it just get frizz up when I blow-dry. Instead I air-dry my hair.

Question: When I moisturize my hair do I just apply to my roots or to the tips of my hair ?

Question: I wrap my hair everynight, I'm I suspose to use the wrapping foam everynight too ?

Question: How do I give my hair body ? What do I need to use ?

Question: I use motions Oil sheen and conditioning spray everynight when I wrap my hair, and every morning: I'm I over doing it with the oil sheen ?

You apply the moisturizer to all of your hair.

I do not use the foam when I wrap my hair.

I use setting lotion for body

No.

It stop your hair from getting tangled and breaking off.

I stop wrapping my hair. I roll it up everynight. Much better hair styles with curls.

In order to have light bouncy hair, when you wash it, blow dry it with a blow dryer that has a comb on the end, not just a regular blow dryer. It makes your hair puffy and frizzy. So make sure to get one with a comb, like a conair. Don't use heavy mositurizers, they will weigh your hair down, use a light serum, like biosilk. Put a little in your hair when wet, and then a little when its dry then straighten it with a flat iron. Drying your hair with a blow dryer/comb end, will make ur hair light and bouncy and the flat iron will give an automatic shine. Stop using oil sheen, because its too heavy, before you wrap ur hair at night use a little of the biosilk again, a dime size amount, then wrap it. No one uses oil sheen anymore, especially on a wrap. It makes ur hair heavy and limp. Don't use mousse or foam either, I'm sure your hair isn't wet everynight! That is for people who washes their hair and wet wrap their hair. Usually people with really short hair. Finally, the purpose of wrapping your hair is to avoid breakage from sleeping on pillows, and it keeps ur bouncy from when you flat ironed it. It help to maintain hair growth also. I hope I helped, let me if you have any more questions

The best way to find the best products for your hair is to try them all. That would be pretty expensive but go over to a friends house and use some of her stuff. See how it works, and just keep trying new things. Hair may work with products from this company and not that company....it's all trial and error.

If I can suggest something, I would suggest you try a hot oil treatment....for a cheaper way to have great soft and silky hair with less frizzies, warm up some olive oil (regular cooking stuff) in the microwave and massage it into your hair while it is dry. Wrap it up in a warm towel from the drier and sit for an hour or so. Maybe give yourself a facial at the same time. Then get in the shower, and shampoo out all the oil (because water won't get the oil out--oil and water don't mix) and then condition your hair. Viola! Beautiful silky hair.

The most key thing to protecting your locks is to stay away from all heat. Yep, that means no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron either....It's very hard not to advert to these products but just try it for a week. Don't blow dry your hair for a week....try it. I know it's hard not to but if you stay away from things with heat such as blow driers, curling irons, straightners, etc....you will notice a HUGE change in the feel and look of your hair. It will be so much more healthy.

I have straight hair, but it's always kind of fuzzy! What do I do to get it perfect?

I've tried going over it with a straightener, but that doesn't work. I've also used the John Frieda shampoo and products for "smoothing your hair". Nothing seems to be working. I want my hair to look healthy, shiney and smooth. Any advice???

I have straight hair, but it's always kind of fuzzy! What do I do to get it perfect?

I have the same type of hair... I use AVON Advance Techniques Straight and Sleek Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner (mostly because its cheap, but it helps a little).. and then after towel drying my hair i use "Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine" its a smoothing serum.. (also quite cheap).. it says to blow dry right after but you don't HAVE to .. you'll get same result letting it air dry.. (out of experience.. DON'T use it on dry hair, it just makes it look stringy and greasy and gross!)

Hope that helps!

I have straight hair, but it's always kind of fuzzy! What do I do to get it perfect?

Dyeing hair question?

ok, so I put semi permanent neutral black in my hair about 2 months ago and it is fading, so I bought some more, but now I think about it and I want to go dark blonde. It is dark brown now and the chart says it will dye it. I plan on doing a test strip. So, I was wondering if I can put the dye for the dark blonde on and if I don't like it if I can just dye over it with the black. This will be only the 2nd time Ive dyed my hair so it is pretty healthy. I don't think it would fall out. If it starts burning, should I just rinse immediately , or should I just expect it to burn when lifting the color a few shades and if it looks terrible, how soon can I dye it black. Any other tips would be great. Thanks!

Dyeing hair question?

HONEY FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH THE HAIR DYE I SUGGEST YOU DONT DO IT BUT IF YOUARE GOING TO I PREFER YOU TO WAIT AT LEAST TWO TO THREE WEEKS BEFORE YOU DYE YOUR HAIR AGAIN IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR HAIR AND NOT ONLY THAT IT WILL COME OUT WITH A FUNKY COLOR. IF IT STARTS BURNING WASH IT OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Dyeing hair question?

i don't noe but ask the hair stylist

Dyeing hair question?

ive dyed my hair PLENTY of times yes if you use to diff dyes in a row it will burn but if the burn begins to REALLy hurt rinse it...

Dyeing hair question?

you should go to a beauty shop and get it done.

Dyeing hair question?

go to the salon... they'll do it 4 u! and i been dyeing my hair since I was 10... and i killed it... i regret of dyeing my hair ever... =(

Dyeing hair question?

i have been dying my hair with permanent dye since i was 16 ( 9 years ) and as long as you don't leave it on for too long and use the right kind of shampoo and conditioner afterwards you should be fine... also, deep conditioner your hair every two weeks just in case b/c obviously not everyone's hair is the same...

Dyeing hair question?

i have no clue. i have never had my hair dyed anywhere but at the salon. maybe you could call the lady that usually cuts your hair and ask her advice?

Dyeing hair question?

go to a professional for goodness sakes.......

Dyeing hair question?

first and fore most how are you? secondly you do not dye your hair, you dye eggs and clothes. You color or put a semi/permanent rinse in it. And you are doing to much for all of the money you are using just go ahead and let a cosmetologist do it and get it right the first time instead of messing your hair up.At least if a professional does it and it doesn't turn out right you can get a free hair do or sue.:)

Dyeing hair question?

yes, u would do a strand test.if the strand test don`t come out the way u want do not do it if it do come out the way u want it do the same procedures. also dont use a big strand of hair.small amounts so it will not be notieable. i hope this helps and alway use the manufactor`s direction.

Dyeing hair question?

hi i am a hair dresser. first rule of hail color. color over color makes a darked color. so you will not get a dark blonde if you apply the color even if you do get it to lift a bit it wont be the color you want . the only way you will have dark blonde if if you strip the black off you hair first (with bleach) and then apply the blonde. go ahead and do the strand test if you like on a underneath part of your hair. you are just going to put the black over it anyways so go a good size section so you can get a good idea of what it will look like make sure you dry it and look at it in good light. as for applying the black normally a client will come back and get a retouch every 2-3 months so it should not burn if it does sometimes it does happen if you can stand it leave it on. once you rinse it will stop. unless

it feels extremely bad... i am glad to help if you have any more questions just add them to this question and i will check back...YOU CAN APPLY THE BLACK OVER THE DARK BLONDE THE SAME DAY .IF YOU DECIDED TO APPLY THE BLONDE THAT IS.

(THINK ABOUT IF YOU GO TO A SALON AND THEY MESS YOUR COLOR UP

THEY DONT SAY. OK COME BACK IN A FEW WEEKS AND WE WILL FIX IT.. )THEY FIX IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!! IT MIGHT DRY YOU HAIR OUT A BIT JUST PUT SOME CONDITIONER ON FOR ABOUT 30 WITH A PLASTIC BAG OVER IT AND DO IT A FEW TIMES A WEEK.

ITS NOT GOING TO MAKE YOU HAIR FALL OUT..

P.S DONT LISTEN TO THESE SNOTTY B******

EXCEPT THE ONES WHO ARE BEING NICE

in a box of hair color it has 20 vol developer

which means it will lift one shade and deposit 2

what you will get if you apply it is a darker color

then what you have now. with out seeing your hair

its hard to say exactly what you will end up with .

but it will not be dark blonde i can garentee that.

like i said do a strand test and see if you like what you end up with. it most likely wont end up a concistant color

from root to tip. because your new growth is not the same color as the rest of your hair.

i wish i could do it for you..

i will check back if you have more questions

Dyeing hair question?

the best thing to do save up n go to the hairdressers. you will need a permant colour to lift your hair to dark blonde now you have put a dark drown dye on it. if your going to put the dark brown back on just apply to the roots only then 4 the last 5 mins comb through to the ends if you dont do this it will go black on the ends. you are also going to b causing your hair to dry out n go frizzy .GO TO THE HAIRDRESSERS. I have been hairdressing 4, 15 years come across this b4 it will cost u more but your hair will b right.

Dyeing hair question?

the best thing you can do is to ask a hairdresser

Dyeing hair question?

first u gotta bleach ur hair then u can do what ever u want

the reason why i said to bleach it is because if u have it a dark color and want to die it a light color it wont take it it will only take like 4 parts of ur hair and trust me it happened to me before

Dyeing hair question?

You can add the black directly to the blonde if you don't like it. I've done it before, just remember to use a good conditioner after you do this. However, if your hair is really dark adding a dark blonde is going to turn it an orange color and look bad. I would suggest stripping it first, but be very carful. If it starts to burn rinse it out immediately it will burn your hair, I had the experience of that one.

Dyeing hair question?

Ask a hair dresser

Dyeing hair question?

You can't "dye" your hair a lighter color. Lighter hair color is achieved by removing the pigment from your hair, with peroxide ( not the kind you buy in a store, but the type used by beauticians ). If you have a dark colored dye on your hair, and you cannot afford to go a salon and get what is called "color correction" then you must simply let your hair grow out. If you keep dyeing you hair over and over it will get damaged. Let your hair grow, save your $ and get it done right by a professional.
