Can any one recommend really good hair products for black womens hair, that actually work?

I want to find out the really good ones, that help maintain your hair and keep it healthy, not ones that make your hair grow. And products that claim to do things but dont actually work. I want, people's own experiences with the products too.

I thinkt the brand is Soft-Sheen Carson, and it's in a yellow bottle.

It keeps my hair mostiurized and soft.

Silk Elements shampoo and conditioner also helps keep my hair manageable all day. And I love the salon-like smell. =D

I'll write more once I go get the other products I use, because I don't know the names.

I use Marc Jacobs and Nexus products they seem to work for me the best as well as using these products give your self a hot oil treatment you can find these at any Sally Beauty store, and once a month when you do use a hot oil treatment sit under a hair dryer if you have one or just wear a shower cap, and wash your hair with shampoo and bet up an egg and wash your hair with the egg mixed into the shampoo it works awsome. Trust me.

Hope this helps:)

I use hot lusters pink oil moisturizer during the day for great moisture and I use this stuff called wrap sheen by black and sassy at night. When you wrap your hair smooth it around and your hair will fall beautifully in the morning! It is best product I have ever discovered. You have to get it from a black beauty store like sally beauty supply. You can find the pink oil moisturizer at walmart or target.

i use soft sheen carson optimum oil therapy(it comes in a yellow bottle). even though it says oil it makes your hair soft, mostuized, and manageable without being greasy. plus, it smells like jojoba and kiwi mixed! i love it! it's the best shampoo and conditioner i've ever used on my hair and comes at a decent price. my caucasin and mexican friends like it too so it works great with all hair. yep

When my hair was natural and permed Paul Mitchell shampoos and conditioners worked best for me. The paul mitchell product I use now is the tea tree shampoo and conditioner. I would also suggest silk elements shampoo and conditoner, or ION conditioning treatments. Motions makes a good moisturizer. I have never been that fond of pink oil moisturizer. Carols daughter products (pomades and moisturizers) work very well.I try to avoid products that have mineral oil or peutroleum in them. also Jojoba oil or extra virgin olive oil make great moisturizers if your hair responds well to them.
