I have very long hair and its healthy without me even trying (I have hair like my dads), and its dark brown with a tint of red and very shiny. Is long hair still in? Or does my hair look old fashion?

However. Long hair that is unkempt and just looks unappealing is just that - unappealing and unattractive. Usually long hair looks much better if it's layered to a degree. Technically, short hair is more "in", as girls rarely have the patience to grow it out so much and still follow fashion trends. But well-kept long hair can be gorgeous, too. It all depends on your level of matienance and comfort with your style.

i like long hair! mine is a little past halfway down my back, and i'm still growing it out! it looks really niced straightened and curled, i think! but it can be such high maintainence! i think long hair is totally in, but not like, down to your butt. i mean, if your hair is that long, more power to you, but then i think that look isn't in, just hair that's like down your back. most of the models have long hair, there's so much you can with it! but if you get bored of it, then have it trimmed or cut, it'll always grow back!
