i want to find a way to get my hair managable, smooth, shiny, and healthy with out having to go to a salon or have to buy relly expensive products. any one have at home remidies or or suggestions

WASH YOUR HAIR GOOD!! BLOW DRY IT, AFTER THAT CHI IRON IT. IT'LL LOOK GOOD PUT SOME CHI MOISTURIZER IN YOUR HAIR OR BIOSILK IT WORKS THE SAME.

why don't you use the pantene pro-v new line of products and ask the salon person who selling it at the mall to help you find the right one for you.

its not expensive but dove makes a anti frizz conditioner or you can by suave leave in anti frizz. once you put in that either one not both only use a little too you can use a hair straightener on med heat.

you can use the suave with wet hair and use the hair straightener its cheap real cheap and I use it to make my hair manageable

you don't have to use the products if you just straighten your hair while its wet after a shower damp hair and straighten it. It will look smooth and wont look frizz either. if you use moose that helps too

try a smoothing shampoo like pantene's smooth and sleek line. it works great for my daughters, makes their hair easy to comb through when wet, etc. no flyaways either. also, try using a clarifying shampoo once in a while. it strips all the old product residue out of your hair that weighs your hair down. after you use it, your hair is shiny and smooth. but you only need to use it once every few weeks or so. you might have to buy it at a beauty supply place.

I would try Frizeez, its inexpensive and sold at most Walgreen type stores. There is also Fantasia IC Hair Polishing Foam- good for curly hair, I use it often.
