I want to change my hair?

Lately i have just kinda been wearing it up in messy ponytails and stuff and it's gone really dull and boring and kinda lifeless so i really need a way to get my hair looking fresh and sexy again, i have used a shine spray before on my hair but i don't think it was a very good brand so i might buy some different shine spray for conditioners i have used Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner it makes it soft but not very shiny for my hair i have also used the Soap and Glory Conditioner i don't really straighten my hair too often only like once or twice a month does anyone know any way to get my hair Really shiny and Gorgeous again My hair is just past my shoulders, Naturally i'm a brunnette but i dyed it dark red recently and a it's little thick after being washed, I love courtney Cox's hair how it looks so healthy i have heard about vitamins and stuff and i am starting to eat more healthy and drink more water, what else could i do or use to get my hair VERY shiny and Beautiful, :)

I think eating fish helps. With the omega 3 oils?

But I really like tigi (bedhead) and I use sunsilk for anti-poof.

I know that frizz-ease has some nice shine serums, but I think the garnier should do the trick.

You'll need to put heat on it to get it to shine though, I'm sure you know that.

Blowdrying your hair with tension in the brush will increase shine. I'm not sure how your texture is, but if your hair is fairly straight, that might actually do the trick.

Take some multi-vitamins. They help you as a whole, but they may strengthen your hair and nails.

Good luck, hun!

Maybe you should lay off the products for a while... and also the hair dye. Dying your hair makes it very dry and brittle, but I suppose since you've already done it, so use a shampoo and conditioner that is made for colored hair (I highly recommened Herbal Essence - it smells sooooo good!). After you wash your hair, don't rub vigerously with a towel, but pat it gently, as rubbing your hair while its wet with cause tangles AND make your hair less shiny, because you're rubbing against the cuticle. Another tip is that when you are washing out the conditioner, use warm water, and suddenly turn it into really cold water - this will make your hair shiner and smoother! Try not to blowdry your hair, or tie your hair up when its wet, and seriously - lay off the products (gel, mousse, hair spray, anti-friz syrum, shine spray, etc.), your hair will thank you for it! Good luck! =]
