My friend wants to dye her hair red so she asked me to post on here before she did anything to avoid a fiasco. Her hair texture is medium to thick but it's not coarse. It's straight. It's about mid-back. She has a paler skin tone (ivory) and almond shaped blue eyes. I think she's got a diamond shaped or heart shaped face. Her hair's pretty healthy. What shade of red would go best with her coloring? She doesn't want it like vibrant red that looks neon and fake or anything. She has sort of red base to her hair already. Please post advice. Thanks.

Well, paler skin tones go well with most colors.
I'd go for a somewhat vibrant (But not too vibrant) ruby red.
There's a dye from Herbal Essences called Radiant Ruby, and I used to have it and I loved it, and I have a similar complexion as your friend.

Well a natural color red of corse. I'm into dying my hair and I was born bruntette. I know that red is a hard color to keep whether your doing red higliths or coke can red dye. So unless you find a realy good brand it will most likely fade back. I hope this helps.
