Whats the best working and the healthiest (for your hair) straightener to buy?

although chi's are really good straighteners, they are also really expensive.

the one i have is a 2in. andis multi heat ceramic straightener. you want one that has ceramic because it protects your hair from being damaged.

by the way i bought this at walmart for $10. and it's almost exactly like a chi.

Get a ceramic straightener, and get one that lets you adjust the heat settings. Also you should use some hair oil on the ends so they don't dry out. And be sure to condition everytime you wash your hair

A good ceramic plate like the sedu, chi, or solia are good. But like are flat iron they will damage your hair if you don't use a heat protector. I use kpac and biosilk and my hair stays pretty healthy

i use a remington wet to dry straightener which you can use when ur hair is wet damp or dry. before i straighten i use bed head ego boost to get rid of the friz you get when you straighten.

i've used a chi for 4 years. it was about 130.00. my hair is in great shape. be sure to use a good moisturizing conditioner and it's best to not wash your hair everyday. let your natural oils develop on your hair.

i've read some of the comments of flat irons from Walmart or Walgreens that are almost just like the chi. if you want a good one, you get what you pay for. they may look like the chi but that's it. protect your hair. spend/ save up the money or don't get one.

just my advice :)
