Okay so I have pretty damaged hair. I used to straighten it everyday, but I've kicked that habit (yay me!) I still use my blowdryer pretty frequently though. Anyways, so I was left with dry, damaged hair. I've used Sunsilk Hydra TLC, Pantene ProV Restoratives Time Renewal, and now I have Herbal Essences Hello Hydration.
My hair is getting healthier, but using the blowdryer doesn't help. I've also gotten my hair trimmed every other month to get rid of my damaged hair and have a fresh, new head of hair.
So my question is, Does anyone know of any good products I can use before drying my hair that won't make it oily, but will keep it healthy? Any good products (shampoo, conditioner, hair masks...) that will hydrate my hair are good too. If you had the same problem as I do, what did you use? I need some help. Thanks %26lt;3 (P.S. I'm 15 and don't dye my hair)

www. matrix. com (sleek products)
www. redken.com (redken products)
I wouldn't get the hydrating masks because you will get more oily if that is a problem for you. If you get the sleek line be sure and get the thermal protectant and use it before...or if you get the redken, go with All Soft. Its awesome. Really light, and smells great. You can get a spray that protects from sun damage and spray it in before blow drying, yes it works for that too, plus you get the benefits of UV protection. I would also suggest getting the cream for UV protection that is also put out by redken. It goes in your hair before swimming . Good luck.

try using a deep conditioner once a week. redken makes a bunch of good ones, you could try their extreme line, that's for damaged hair. also try going to your local beauty supply store and asking them what to do. i had the same problem with my hair but it was from bleaching it too much. i just tryed to lay off the straightening and blow dryer for awhile and would deep condition it. good luck!

you can try out the loreal elseve reparing hair mask. i uses hoyu beauty labo hair moisturiser but since your hair is not coloured, i dont think that would suit you.
blowdrying kills your hair... maybe you can just blowdry it to an extent where it's no longer dripping for the convenience. leave your hair to air dry...

okay.......well dont like to bash products but you "get what you pay for"_Please treat yourself to profess. products sold in your hair salon CONGRATULATIONS on not using your flat iron just once in a while is o.k. using a conditioning "leave in" creme prior to blowing it out will help... START at the ends 1st and stay away from your roots as this will cause it to become oily After you dried it THEN start with a pea size amount rub it between the tips of your fingers and rub it on your roots A little at a time you can always add more. im in the beauty field hope it has helped you please ask me any more hair questions you might have
Damaged hair advice?
Hi,,,
Hope this helps you...I use the Herbal essences -color me happy.. its in the pink bottle ... the conditioner is a must!!!!,,, towel dry then i apply a small amount of the herbal essences set me up max hold gel,(i have shoulder length hair and i find a dime size in the hand is plenty) ,,, (cactus flower %26amp; bamboo) in a greenish/blue tube,,, i blow dry with a whal ionic hair brush,(i find this is also important, i have a ionic blower and all it does is dry and make my hair frizzy mess, there is more control with the brush)...,then set on the cool setting to smooth every thing out,,, this is the best i have ever found for my hair,,It leaves it with body, and is good for the day.. Believe me im not know for my good hair days-i used to have a co-worker ask me if it was windy at my house.......lol i have fine curly hair and this method almost straightens my hair completly,,, when i wash and go people always ask if i got a perm,,hope this helps i was using fructis and i tried sunsilk,, how ever i like the herbal essences best,,,good luck
