My hair is really curly.. i am biracial soo my hair is like curly black gurl hair.. i go swimming alot in the summer and my hair always breaks and gets dry and gets shorter but i'm trying to grow my hair out!! What kind of products should i use for my hair over the summer so i can wear my hair curly and keep it healthy and to stop breaking!!!!!????

maybe you should try the new pantene shampoo. you can buy it from wallgreens, cvs, or wallmart

there is a product from Joico called Phine-put this in your hair before you go swimming and it prevents the chlorine from getting in your hair, then I would recommend Rusk shampoo and conditioner.

chlorine pool or salt water, like the Ocean?

I would make sure to use a contioner -

after you shampoo in the shower

put the conditioner in - then wash the rest of your body -

rinse all at the same time - lets the conditioner have a few minutes to soak in - do two things at once! (and save water)

before you go swimming put a conditioner you like through dry hair and do not rinse it out, i would suggest using a conditioner with sunscreen in it (most ones with sunscreen are made for color treated hair) but you do not have to use one with sunscreen. also theres a leave in cream by garnier for color treated hair that has sunscreen in it. and as soon as you get out of the pool try to rinse your hair with clean water to get the chemicals out. good luck

If you take a good conditioner and put a little in a spray bottle full of water and spray your hair down real good with the conditioner water this will help block some the chemicals from the pools. Also try a good deep conditioner. I would suggest salon products.
