Adding volume to heavy hair?

so my hair is "baby" fine and its heavy, confusing i know. it's about 4 inches past my shoulders and i was wondering how i could get more volume in my hair. I used sunsilk volumizing shampoo and after a while that ruined my hair so I started using tresemme and my hair seems a lot healthier. I use amp volumizing spray at my roots when straightening to help and its not working so well anymore since it's getting longer.

It's naturally curly and looks full when its curly, but when i straighten it, it looks dead, not full like it used to. I refuse to cut my hair so don't even give that as an option, i want it long. Also, putting mousse in my hair and then straightening is a huge NO, it ruins my hair and my straightener. I've tried it...

I blow dry my hair upside down as well to help with the volume.

please give product names, price is not an option with my hair.

I have VERY thin hair and to volumnmize it i put in tons of hairspray and (but not the holding-sticky kind) and i blow dry it (when it is dry not wet) and as i am blow drying it i brush it with a brissle brush. If you do not have that kind of hair spray use gel ( but not the harding gel, use the styling kind.)

Make sure you're using clarifying shampoo like Suave to get rid of all the product buildup. Not much else you can do.

I think your best bet for that problem is to use VO5 (My fav brand) or Garnier (My other fav brand.) Neither of those brands have ever damaged my hair and I use them all the time. Try it.

Take big curlers (not the heated kind) - the biggest you can find. A pack of 5 or 7 runs for $9 at the most and 5-7 is all you will need.

After you blow dry your hair, roll the curlers around the hair on the top of your head and around your face. Take the blow dryer and blow at the same time spraying hairspray. Not too much hairspray. We don't want the '80s look. Take the curlers out and run your fingers through - not a brush! If you want, add a little hairspray for the finishing touch. It should give you the perfect volume.

Go for professional products : Matrix Vavoo, Sexy hair Root booster, Matrix Amplify. If your hair is one length and is heavy but fine like you say, rollers will work and don't worry it will sound like it will look big but trust me by the time it falls, it will look smaching. Get it roller set at a shop it's a cheap service.

Bouncing and behaving hair for you.
