speaking as a professional stylist trimming your ends is verry beneficial to your hair, yes it helps you hair grow a lot better because you dont have the splittage creeping up your hair stand so yes trim your hair about every 6-8 weeks

It wont make your hair grow faster from the roots but it certainly will make it healthier. Trimming off split ends means the split wont continue to grow bigger ruining more of your hair. So in a way your hair will 'grow' longer if you have trim off split ends regularly, but not in the way you might think.

yeah its true. Cuz ur hair doesn't grow when u have split ends, and it usually can actually fall out! and don't do it urself because it might end up looking bad.
