well my hair is past my shoulders its thick and its black with bleached streaks in it. I havent dyed my hair in a couple months and i always condition, but my hair is very dry and frizzy and curly/wavy unless i iron it. But when i do iron it looks very burned right after; especially at the ends. i always use super skinny serum and leave conditioner in my hair for about ten minutes in the shower. So why is my hair so damaged.? Im going to get it trimmed but the rest will still be very dry and frizzy. Is there any product that i can use in my hair to make my hair less dry and more healthy? I have tried buying deep conditioners and sleeping with them in my hair, and that slightly helped but not much! So does anyone have any suggestions? I dont want to cut my hair alot but i am willing to trim it.! Is there any kind of special hair repairer that i can use that will repair my hair.? I have also used Dove Intense Damage and that also slightly helped. Please help me! :]

You'll have to get your hair professionally trimmed, and a deep conditioning treatment.

Get some Permrepair at the drugstore and do a deep condition when you shampoo it. Use the permrepair afterwards and don't use the irons for a while. Get a blunt cut if you can and be gentle with it. No styles that require curling with irons or blowdrying.

definitely get all the split ends cut off. make sure you get a trim every six weeks, maybe sooner than that if you apply heat to it every day. try a heat activated product. and try a cholesterol treatment, its like super conditioner, and if i remember right its not really expensive. use it about once a week and it should help, it helped me when i use to bleach my hair. oh and you can find the cholesterol treatments in the black hair care area

I would use a smoothing conditioner something like pantene smooth and sleek or herbal essences pin straight. I would also use a leave in spray protectant. I use thermasilk. It never hurts to take a day or two off each week that you dont straighten. It helps. Try reducing the temp on your straightner.

I would lay off the ironing and seek professional help in regards to you hair. I have thick curly hair and know all to well about frizzy hair. There are plenty of great products out there now days.

perhaps your leaving the iron on too long hence the burnt problems.

sounds like you got it right but stop using the flat iron so much and use a really good flat iron if you continue to flatten your hair. I used a cheap one a few times and omg it burned my hair and it took me months to get my hair back to normal. I brought a really good flat iron for $120.00 and I'm happy to say no more dry ends or fizzies! I do trim my hair every 4 weeks. good luck!

well you should stop using a flat iron on your hair just buy a really god hair straightener, get your hair trimmed and use a leave in conditioner

trim often, deep condition and use a heat protectant spray. tresemme, nexxus, and got2be all have some, and they are available at drugstore. also nexxus has a product called "sleek memory straightening and smoothing spray". i haven't used it yet but i just read about it in the march issue of allure magazine. it's supposed to help your hair stay straight and not have to use a flat iron as often. They said one of their staffers stopped using her flatiron completely after one week. I think i'll buy myself, it's about twelve dollars.

This may sound kinda like a bit of a harsh solution but its the only realy way to sort your hair out.

You HAVE to get an all over buzz cut and then let your hair grow out again. So you can start fresh. It's usually recommended that you use a special protection spray designed for hair straighteners.
