Better way to control my hair...?

I have always had oily hair. When I entered middle school it got to the point that I had to color my hair every 6-8 weeks to keep it looking shiny, healthy and clean. I wash my hair with color protected shampoo every single morning and try my best to limit the products I use in my hair. I've tried going every other day, but my hair just doesn't look good without me washing it ever morning. Is this all I can do for my hair? ? ?

use a clarifying shampoo. the oil is from too much washing. i know it doesnt make sense, but when you wash your hair, you strip the natural oils and your scalp ends up producing more. color protected shampoos are very heavy because they are packed with built in conditioners to coat and protect color treated hair. instead of using that, try the clarifying shampoo (like neutrogena) and some at-home hot oil treatment 2x a week.

for temporary results, dust a little baby powder with a cosmetic brush on the roots and strands.

washing your hair everyday is destroying it. if you brush it throughly everyday, your hair will look beautiful in no time. but when you get old your hair will fall out if you color your hair so often.

stop the habit from now on, no chemicals and your hair will be perfect-o!

hmmm you can buy a type of shampoo or something.

or you can just leave your hair how it is. you can also wash it at night time. unless it still iz oily at the next day. so yeah those are my suggestions.

I grew up with the oily hair too!! my mother would only let me wash it 1 time a week so be thatnkful u can wash it everday!! I know it can be aggravating but take one day a week to just not wash it maybe a saturday?? and pull it up in a ponytail! You also need to let the color grow off u have been doing it way too long and u started way too early i am a hairdresser of 30 years so please take my advice seriously
