how do i make my hair look and feel healthy and soft. im going to get it cut and i want it to stay healty and i want my hair to stay stright and sliky. hwhat do i do?

I like my hair to be straight and silky, and this is what I do:

Deep condition once per week. (I use a flat iron, so this is especially important for my hair.)

Use products that protect from heat styling.

Biosilk Silk Therapy 'serum' (only available in salons, as far as I know) is the best product that I have found. It has silk proteins that are heat activated to penetrate and provide protection while improving the condition of hair. Silk Therapy also gives incredible shine. It's worth it.

I am a cosmetology student in NC and I learned that using profession line product makes a world of difference in the appearance of your hair. I switched for Gaurnee what ever! lol! to Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Shampoo and in a few months my frizzy unruly mop was like a brand new head of hair. Also Paul Mitchell has a straighting serum just for flat irons it is called Super Skinny also it is excellent. Invest in a good flat iron trust me you get your money worth on the right product.

Try pouring a can of beer on it once a week. I am serious. Take vitaminE and don't over use anything that heats the hair such as straightening irons, curling irons or blowdryers..When you do use them use on low heat. .Don't brush your hair roughly be gentle with it. Pulling and making it snaps stretches it out and you lose elasticity. Get a good shampoo that is gentle.Condition it regularly. A good brand to try is Paul Mitchell shampoo 1,2 and 3. Rotate between hair repair treatment condition and supercharge. They are excellent for damaged hair. If you color your hair with bleach be careful it damages hair the worse. Don't color it over and over either.

go to your nearset walmart if they have a salon there buy bilosilk silk therapy it comes in a clear bottle colorless and the very first time you use it only a dime size amount rub in your hair and your hair will be silky frizzless and shiny i say walmart because it is much cheaper at 11.50 a bottle as opposed to other salons can cost 20.00 a bottle good luck it really works!

your supposed to use things from a salon-not the store brand stuff...i switched and my hair is now really healthy smooth and not frizzy at all.
