This past year I have colored my hair about 5 times. The 5th time I was going back to my original color, black, because I was tired of roots. This was a mistake b/c now my hair is drier than ever. When I was bleaching it and streaking it my hair still felt surprisingly healthy and was managible. The only time I can manage my hair now is if i straighten it, its summer and not exactly feesible. Ive run out of ideas, and am wanting to cut it the shortest length possible w/o looking bad. But I have yet to b/c Im thinking about feminity. Of course we should make decisions based on whats best for ourselves, but I cant shake what ppl might think of my short hair should I cut it. Its shoulder length currently. Plus Im kinda on the prowl for a guy friend, and I dont want short hair to turn him off. Dumb reason?

not always.. I had hair to my waist and my ex didn't like it at all, asked me all the time to cut it. It really depends on the guy some like short some long some between.... but Ive seen some VERY nice short hair cuts.. I'm just not brave enough to pull them off!

Long hair is attractive, but not required. and being femine is about atatude and poise, not hair

if you are feminine you will look feminine even with close shaved hair. nooo, short hair is awesome! you dont have to worry about getting tangles, or straightening it! It is definately feminine enough and if short hair is a turn off to guys, thats crazy because they should respect your preferences and choices. Ive had short hair for a while now and I love it. Its very easy.
